Season's Greetings From Cavalex Models

We would like to wish all of our customers and followers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

2024 was a significant milestone for Cavalex Models seeing the arrival of our first locomotive release the Class 56 and we would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the past year.

We are looking forward to 2025 in which we will see the arrival of our Class 60, announcement of our third locomotive, as well as the continued development of numerous projects, both announced and unannounced.

THE SOUTH DEVON RAILWAY DIESEL GALA 2024

We had a very enjoyable day at The South Devon Railway diesel gala on Saturday, our thanks to SDR and DCRail for hosting us at the event.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and see us in the museum, it is always great to meet people face to face and talk trains. It was also great to see 60029!

South Devon Railway Diesel Gala

Following the announcement that a DCRail Class 60 will be visiting the South Devon Railway for their diesel gala on Saturday the 9th of November 2024, we are excited to advise that Cavalex Models will be attending the one-day event.

We will be showcasing our model of 60029 in collaboration with Hornby Magazine and also other projects. If you are planning to visit the event, please do come and say hello.

We’re excited to be joined this weekend at the Great Electric Train Show by Dave Cook aka Shedmaster, with his excellent miniature version of Stewart’s Lane. Dave will be demoing the sound file of the Cavalex Class 60 all weekend using the latest pre-production samples!

THE GREAT ELECTRIC TRAIN SHOW 2024

Final Cavalex Class 60 pre-production samples will be on show this weekend at the Great Electric Train show, alongside a demonstration of our final sound file. We cannot wait for you to see and hear them!
